Original work From Her shows us that the heart of decay often blooms. At the center, a softly rendered rabbit, almost glowing with gentle vitality, emerges from a dense wreath of flowers and foliage. But upon closer inspection, the piece reveals a deeper narrative: from within the rabbit’s exposed ribcage, rich burgundy entrails and curling greenery spill outward, blurring the line between the organic and the symbolic. The floral elements echo both growth and memorial, suggesting a return to the earth and regeneration from it.

From Her reads as both elegy and offering, a visceral yet tender exploration of what it means to give life, lose it, and still remain beautiful. 

Framed Watercolor, pen, ink, colored pencil, and gel pen on hot-pressed watercolor paper measuring 12.5 inches by 15.5 inches. Signed by artist Lauren Marx on both front and back. Signature on back includes full title From Her and year 2023 Work was completed. Packaged for delivery in clear plastic sleeve and protective foam in durable cardboard outer material. White custom frame float mounted under UV protective acrylic glass.

Shipping & Returns
We ship all orders within two weeks, though our small team strives to fulfill your order much sooner than that!
Domestic USA Orders:
We'll cover the cost of shipping your order to any U.S. address (including Alaska and Hawaii) when you spend $120 or more.
All domestic USA orders ship with USPS and tracking numbers are provided. Shipping Times:1-4 weeks within the continental United States.
International Orders:
International orders shipped with DHL, which handles package delivery up to the destination country's border, where the host postal service takes over. That means tracking info may not be up to date once it reaches the customers destination country, as some countries do not update travel information in the DHL system where the tracking number originated.
Shipping Times: 2 weeks - 5 months for international orders depending on the country (Though most arrive in less than 2 weeks)
Refunds/Exchanges: Refunds may be granted for merchandise only in the event of lost packages, damaged merchandise, or shop error. No shipping charge refunds. Funds paid for shipping are remitted to the carrier for delivery services and not eligible for refunds by our shop. 
Exchanges are not allowed under any circumstances. 
Please note that prints are limited edition and signed by the artist. They often sell out, which means that in the event of damage or loss, a replacement print may not be available.
